My trip to New York was (as always) fantastic. The weather was perfect for photogrpahy - cold but bright and sunny - until New Years Day when no one minded the rain anyway because it detracted from the hangovers and impending flight home.
Congratulations to:
- Don - who had a wonderful 50th birthday (the main purpose for the trip) and we all helped him celebrate in style!
- Chloe and Glen - who got engaged - with Glen getting down on one knee in front of the Flatiron Building on New Years Day.
Massive thanks to Sharon and Don who treated me like an honorary Crawford for the trip and the rest of the gang who made me feel part of it all the way through. I hope everyone enjoyed it - despite a few bouts of cold/fever by various people.
So now its back to work with a vengeance - once again its budget time so part of Sunday evening will be spent poring over spreadsheets and trying to estimate the impossible ! But hopefully it means we'll be better prepared than last year for the onslaught on work!
New years resolutions - well not quite a resolution but G and I are in the grumpy stages of having stopped the wicked nictoine weed - together we can kick it I'm sure. (I think we've both been through this a million times and I could kick myself for having started again in the Autumn after SO long!)
